From 14 to 17 December 2019, a total of three form 4 students represented the school in the STEM Design Asia competition in Taoyuan, Taiwan. This team successfully penetrated the final round which housed only 2 teams from Malaysia, 1 team from South Korea and Saudi Arabia. Thanks to their hard work for 3 months, they received a gold award with the project name SUWS (Smart Underground Waste System). Their excellent achievements have received the attention of the media until they were invited to be interviewed by RTM in the program Selamat Pagi Malaysia which took place on TV1.
